Route 20 Guide
Route 20 is the broad sea road around Seafoam, packed with swimmers and split by the icy islands on the way to Cinnabar.
Travel the road
Route 20 is where the south coast becomes a real expedition. The sea stretches between Seafoam Islands 1F and Cinnabar Island, with enough swimmers to make the water feel busy instead of empty.
What to find
Clear the swimmers if you want late-game experience, fish when you need ocean catches, and decide whether you are entering Seafoam for exploration or simply crossing toward Cinnabar. The island cave changes the route’s meaning: it can be a detour, a puzzle, or the road itself.
Return with a reason
Return for Seafoam cleanup, Articuno, or another clean Cinnabar crossing. This is one of the routes that feels much better once you know exactly where the currents and cave exits will send you.
