Viridian Forest Guide
Viridian Forest is Kanto’s first real wild maze, with Bug Catchers, hidden supplies, Pikachu sightings, and the north road to Pewter tucked among the trees.
Step inside
Enter from the south gate after Route 2 and the forest immediately slows the journey down. Paths curl around trees, items sit just off the main walk, and Bug Catchers wait where a new team is likely to feel fragile.
Explore the place
Pick up the Antidote, Poké Ball, and Potion, then search for hidden Antidote and Potion if you want a full sweep. Battle the three Bug Catchers for early experience. The grass is famous for Pikachu in Red and Blue, while each version changes the bug-hunting texture a little.
Come back with a reason
Return if you missed items, want more early bug encounters, or need the old forest road between Viridian and Pewter. The maze is small, but it is the first place Kanto asks you to prepare instead of just walk.
