Tohjo Falls Guide

Tohjo Falls is the watery checkpoint between Johto and Kanto, turning the eastern border trip into a proper cave passage instead of a simple gate.

Step inside

Tohjo Falls is the cave that makes crossing into Kanto feel earned. Route 27 brings you to the water, and Waterfall turns the border into a little rite of passage instead of a plain doorway.

What to do inside

Surf through, climb the falls, and pick up the Moon Stone. The cave has Zubat, Rattata, Raticate, Golbat, Slowpoke, Goldeen, and Seaking depending on land, water, and rods, so it still feels like a real location even though the crossing is short.

Return with a reason

Return whenever you replay the Johto-to-Kanto border road, need the Moon Stone, or want the midpoint between New Bark's eastern sea and the Indigo approach.
