Fighting Dojo Guide
The Fighting Dojo is Saffron’s old unofficial Gym, where five martial artists guard your choice of Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan.
Step inside
After Team Rocket leaves Saffron City, the Dojo becomes a clean, satisfying side challenge beside Sabrina’s more mysterious Gym. No warp maze, no city takeover, just a line of fighters and a prize at the back.
What matters here
Defeat the Blackbelts and the Karate Master, then choose Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan. You only get one, so decide whether you want the kicking specialist or the punching specialist before you press the Poké Ball.
Come back with a reason
Return if you skipped the Dojo before Sabrina. It does not award a badge, but it gives Saffron one of its best rewards and a reminder that the city had a fighting tradition before Psychic power took over.
