4 wild Pokémon across 1 encounter method. 6 trainer battles.
Route 16 Guide
Route 16 is Celadon’s western exit: a Snorlax roadblock, a Cut-side Fly house, and the gate to Cycling Road.
Travel the road
Route 16 starts with Celadon City at your back and a sleeping Snorlax in the way. Past it, the route drops toward Cycling Road and the long slope to Fuchsia.
What to find
Bring the Poké Flute when you want to wake Snorlax. Use Cut to reach Route 16 Fly House for HM02, then prepare for Bikers and Cue Balls before the cycling descent.
Return with a reason
Return whenever Fly changes your travel habits. This small route gives one of the most useful HMs in the game, so it deserves a stop even if you are not ready to ride south yet.
