Seafoam Islands Guide
Seafoam Islands is Kanto’s icy current puzzle between Fuchsia and Cinnabar, hiding boulders, water flows, rare sea encounters, and Articuno deep below.
Step inside
Seafoam interrupts Route 20 with a cave that behaves like a tide machine. Ladders, holes, Strength boulders, and currents all work together, so the islands feel less like a cave and more like a lock you solve from the inside.
Explore the place
Bring Strength and Surf. Push boulders into holes to calm the currents, work down through the floors, and search for hidden Nugget, Max Elixir, and Ultra Ball. The cave is rich with Water- and Ice-flavored encounters such as Seel, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dewgong, and Slowbro depending on version.
Come back with a reason
Return when you are ready for Articuno on the lowest floor, or when you want to master the current puzzle instead of merely finding a way through to Cinnabar.
