Route 44 Guide
Route 44 is the long eastern road out of Mahogany, pushing you toward Ice Path and the final badge city.
Travel the route
Route 44 is the road that tells you the end of Johto is close. It leaves Mahogany Town, crosses water and ledges, and points straight into Ice Path 1F and the climb toward Blackthorn.
What to find
Battle Fisher Wilton, Fisher Edgar, Psychic Phil, Pokémaniac Zach, Bird Keeper Vance, Cooltrainer Allen, and Cooltrainer Cybil. Pick Burnt Berry, Max Revive, Ultra Ball, and hidden Elixer, then check the grass for Tangela, Weepinbell, Bellsprout, Lickitung, and the water for Poliwag and Poliwhirl.
Return with a reason
Return for late-game trainer rematches, Remoraid fishing in the right versions, and the most direct road from Mahogany into the Blackthorn approach.
