Olivine City is the western harbor city, with the Lighthouse climb, Jasmine's delayed Gym battle, and the port route to Kanto.
Olivine is a harbor town with its attention split between the sea and the lighthouse. Your rival is outside the Gym telling you Jasmine is away, the port waits near the water, and Route 40 makes the ocean feel like the next road rather than a backdrop.
Climb Olivine Lighthouse 1F and the floors above to find Jasmine caring for Amphy. The city then sends you across the water to Cianwood City for the SecretPotion, after which Jasmine returns to the Gym. While you are in town, visit the Good Rod house, the cafe, the Mart, and the fishing spots along the harbor.
Return for Jasmine's Gym, ship travel from Olivine Port, and any west-coast loop that runs between Ecruteak, Cianwood, the Lighthouse, and the open sea.
