Power Plant
5 wild Pokémon across 1 encounter method.
Power Plant Guide
The Power Plant is Kanto’s abandoned electric maze, reached by Surf from Route 10 and packed with item balls, Voltorb traps, Electric Pokemon, and Zapdos.
Step inside
Surf from Route 10 and the Power Plant waits like a place the region forgot to lock. The rooms are quiet, the item balls are suspicious, and the whole building crackles with Electric types.
Explore the place
Collect Carbos, HP Up, Rare Candy, TM25, TM33, hidden Max Elixir, and hidden PP Up. Be ready for disguised Voltorb and Electrode as you search. Wild Pikachu, Magnemite, Magneton, and version-specific Electabuzz make the abandoned rooms crackle with Electric-type hunting.
Come back with a reason
Return when you are ready to face Zapdos. The Power Plant is optional, but it feels like a proper late-game field trip: dangerous, rewarding, and completely different from the badge road.
